Las Cruces law enforcement operation leads to 237 arrests

Authorities in Las Cruces, New Mexico, concluded a five-week law enforcement initiative known as ‘Operation Triple Beam-Prolific,’ resulting in 237 arrests. The operation, which ran from August 24 to September 25, targeted violent crime, fugitives, and narcotics offenders.

In coordination with the U.S. Marshals Service, the FBI, the DEA, and local police, officials seized 110 grams of fentanyl, 403.4 grams of methamphetamine, and 54 grams of cocaine. Additionally, law enforcement recovered 17 firearms and two vehicles. Las Cruces Police Chief Jeremy Story stated that the operation serves as a message that violence and disorder will not be tolerated in the community.
