Las Guerreras K-Pop franchise adds Funko Pop figures in Mexico and announces 2029 sequel

Funko Pop released a new collection of vinyl figures based on the Netflix animated film Las Guerreras K-Pop. The line includes 9.5‑cm figures of characters Rumi, Mira, Zoey and Jinu, plus a glow‑in‑the‑dark Derpy with Susie, priced around 319 Mexican pesos each, with keychain versions sold for about 189 pesos. The items are available through authorized retailers such as Amazon and local Mexican stores.

Netflix confirmed that a sequel, Las Guerreras K-Pop 2, is in development and is expected to arrive in 2029. The film will again be directed by Maggie Kang and will see the return of characters like Rumi, with new plot elements hinted at, including the mystery of Rumi’s father. The sequel will stream on Netflix, with Sony Pictures Animation retaining contractual rights for a possible theatrical release.
