Las Hurdes forest fire leaves 3,700 hectares destroyed

Two weeks after a major forest fire in Las Hurdes, residents continue to face the aftermath of a blaze that destroyed more than 3,700 hectares. The fire connected the municipalities of Avellanar and Cerezal, leaving behind a blackened landscape.
