Las Migas releases flamenco cover 'Luna' of Italian classic song

Spanish flamenco quartet Las Migas issued a new single titled “Luna” on 31 July through Warner Records Italy. The track reinterprets the 1984 Italian hit “Non voglio mica la luna”, originally performed by Fiordaliso and written by Zucchero, Luigi Albertelli and Enzo Malepasso, into a flamenco‑styled arrangement featuring guitar and Mediterranean percussion.

The release follows a 20‑year career that includes six studio albums, performances in more than 50 countries and two Latin Grammy Awards for Best Flamenco Album (2022 and 2025). The band is led by guitarist‑composer Marta Robles, who co‑produced the new song. “Luna” is presented as a cultural bridge between classic Italian pop and contemporary flamenco, highlighting Las Migas’ reputation as one of the most respected female groups on the international flamenco scene.
