Málaga CF takes 1‑0 lead over UD Las Palmas in promotion semifinal

Málaga CF secured a 1‑0 victory against UD Las Palmas in the first leg of the LaLiga Hypermotion playoff semifinal. David Larrubia scored the sole goal in the 57th minute with a left‑foot strike after a back‑heel pass from Dani Lorenzo. The match was played at the Estadio Gran Canaria, and the referee was Andrés Fuentes Molina.

Málaga dominated possession, applying aggressive pressure and limiting Las Palmas to few chances. Las Palmas protested a denied penalty for Enrique Clemente, while Málaga dealt with a muscle injury to central defender Einar Galilea, who was replaced by Murillo. Goalkeeper Dinko Horkas made a crucial save in the final minutes to preserve the lead.

The win gives Málaga a vital advantage heading into the return leg at La Rosaleda, where a two‑goal victory would secure promotion to the Primera División.
