Las Toscas celebrates 146th founding anniversary

The community of Las Toscas celebrated its 146th founding anniversary with a series of commemorative events. The day included a floral offering at Paseo El Mirador Las Toscas to honor the city's early pioneers, followed by a Tedeum service at the Parroquia Nuestra Señora de la Asunción.

The official ceremony took place at Plaza 23 de Agosto, led by Municipal Mayor Iván Sánchez. The event was attended by National Deputy Pablo Farías, Provincial Deputy María del Rosario “Charo” Mancini, regional authorities, security forces, Malvinas War veterans, and members of the Quom community. During his address, Mayor Sánchez emphasized the importance of history as a fundamental part of the community's identity, referencing the arrival of Gaspar Kauffman and Antonio Tomassone on August 23, 1880.
