Las Toscas hosts inaugural Jaaukanigás Rodantes tourism rally
The town of Las Toscas in Argentina will host the first Encuentro de Rodantes del Jaaukanigás from 28 to 30 August 2026 at the Club Patocuá camping site. The three‑day event will bring motorhomes, campers and caravans from across the country to showcase the Jaaukanigás Ramsar wetland and surrounding forest villages.
Local officials, including Las Toscas mayor Iván Sánchez and Reconquista mayor Enri Vallejos, presented the rally as a new driver for regional tourism, aiming to create jobs and stimulate the local economy. Activities will feature night hiking, nautical tours and visits to nearby villages, with the first 30 registrants receiving free accommodation and parking.
Organisers from the municipal tourism subsecretariat and regional tourism authorities see the rally as a way to position northern Santa Fe as a reference destination for itinerant tourism and to foster cooperation among neighboring municipalities.
