Las Vegas bar sued after woman injured on mechanical ride

Amber Zabran, an Illinois woman, has filed a lawsuit in Clark County, Nevada, against The Nerd, a bar located at the Neonopolis on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas. The suit alleges that Zabran sustained serious physical and mental injuries after being thrown from the establishment’s mechanical ride, known as the ‘Gyrating Johnson Mechanical Member Bull’.

According to the legal filing, Zabran’s foot or ankle became caught under a large cut-out section of the phallic-shaped ride during the incident on November 22, 2025. The lawsuit claims that staff members attempted to make the ride more difficult as it continued and notes that Zabran and her friends were not asked to sign any waivers before using the attraction.

The plaintiff is seeking damages for medical expenses, attorney’s fees, and other costs, with claims for special and actual damages each exceeding $15,000. The lawsuit states that some of the injuries sustained may be permanent.
