Las Vegas Raiders training camp under new head coach Klint Kubiak

Kubiak, a former Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator and recently ranked No. 9 among NFL play‑callers by The Athletic, is tasked with reviving an offense that struggled under previous coaches Antonio Pierce and Pete Carroll, who together posted a 15‑36 record.

Early rookie evaluations show first‑round quarterback Fernando Mendoza slipping from a projected starter to backup after procedural errors, safety Treydan Stukes falling short of Day‑1 expectations, and defensive end Keyron Crawford viewed as a developmental prospect. Veteran players expressed optimism about the new mindset, noting the professionalism of the roster.

After nine days and six practices (two with pads), coaches reported that players are "extremely coachable" and that the camp is shaping the team's identity ahead of the 2026 season.
