Las Vegas Raiders designate wide receiver Jack Bech for return
The Las Vegas Raiders have designated wide receiver Jack Bech for return from injured reserve. Bech, a 2025 second-round pick, has been sidelined since Week 3 after suffering a broken forearm during a game against the New Orleans Saints.
Following his designation, the Raiders have a 21-day window to add Bech to the 53-man roster. While a return in Week 8 against the New York Jets is considered unlikely, he could potentially play as early as Week 9 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Separately, the team is approaching a deadline regarding wide receiver Dont’e Thornton. Thornton has been healthy for several weeks after an injury in training camp, but the team has yet to decide whether to activate him to the active roster. Head coach Klint Kubiak indicated that a decision regarding Thornton will be made by Wednesday; if he is not activated, he will remain out for the rest of the season.
