Las Vegas Raiders hold Cousins and Crosby out of practice after fight
Las Vegas Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak held quarterback Kirk Cousins and pass rusher Maxx Crosby out of Saturday’s training camp practice following a physical altercation during Friday’s session. The incident occurred during a team period when Crosby reportedly hit Cousins’ throwing arm twice, leading to a confrontation where the two players had to be separated. While no punches were thrown, Kubiak stated that the players violated team expectations regarding practice discipline. Both players are expected to return to the field on Monday.
Separately, the Raiders are evaluating their wide receiver depth as training camp progresses. While the team has signed Jalien Nailor and drafted rookie Malik Benson, reports suggest second-year player Tre Tucker is viewed as a primary candidate to take a significant step forward and potentially serve as the team’s top wide receiver this season.
