Las Vegas Raiders show offensive improvement in preseason debut
The Las Vegas Raiders' offensive line showed notable improvement during their first preseason game, following the addition of center Tyler Linderbaum and offensive line coach Rick Dennison. The unit demonstrated effectiveness in both the run and pass games, allowing only one pressure on six dropbacks for the first-team offense. The second unit also performed well, highlighted by a 53-yard run from Mike Washington Jr.
Beyond the offensive line, the Raiders are looking toward young talent to drive success under new head coach Klint Kubiak. Rookie running back Mike Washington Jr. impressed in his debut with a 63-yard performance on six carries. Additionally, cornerback Hezekiah Masses has emerged as a standout performer during training camp and OTAs, providing a ball-hawking presence that the team has lacked in recent seasons.
