Las Vegas Raiders face challenging six-game NFL stretch
The Las Vegas Raiders enter a challenging six-game stretch in the NFL following a 27-13 Week 1 victory over the Miami Dolphins. The team, currently 1-0, is scheduled to face the Los Angeles Chargers on September 20, followed by matchups against New Orleans, Kansas City, New England, Buffalo, and the Los Angeles Rams.
In their season opener, quarterback Kirk Cousins threw three touchdown passes, while Ashton Jeanty recorded 147 yards from scrimmage. Defensive standout Kwity Paye also made an impact with two sacks. Despite the win, some NFL power rankings saw the Raiders slide due to the perceived difficulty of their opponent in Week 1.
Coach Klint Kubiak noted that the upcoming schedule will serve as a test for the team's rebuilding efforts. The Raiders' offensive line has shown improvement, and the defense recorded five sacks during the opening game, though Kubiak noted the team struggled to maintain momentum in the fourth quarter.
