Las Vegas resorts launch promotions to counter declining Canadian tourism

Las Vegas hospitality providers are implementing aggressive promotional strategies to combat declining tourism, particularly from Canada. Following a reported 18% drop in Canadian visitors in 2025—attributed to trade tariffs and political tensions—hotels and casinos are launching specialized offers to attract travelers.

Circa Hospitality Group has introduced a ‘Vegas At Par’ promotion offering a 1:1 exchange rate for the Canadian dollar. Meanwhile, MGM Resorts is utilizing all-inclusive packages, and Air Canada is offering bundled flight and hotel deals.

In Downtown Las Vegas, the Golden Nugget has launched a $199 all-inclusive midweek package that includes a two-night stay, food and beverage credits, and waived resort fees. This move reflects a broader industry trend toward bundled pricing to provide more predictable costs for guests.
