Las Vegas shooting leaves three hospitalized during Arts District festival
Three people were hospitalized following a shooting in the Arts District of downtown Las Vegas on Friday night. The incident occurred around 10:17 p.m. near the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Main Street.
The gunfire took place during the monthly First Friday arts festival, an event featuring local artists, food trucks, and live music. The shooting prompted a significant police response and led to the closure of major roads, including eastbound and westbound lanes of Charleston Boulevard between Art Way and Grand Central Parkway.
While social media reports initially suggested a mass shooting, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed only three victims were transported to the hospital. The victims' conditions were not immediately released. As of the latest reports, authorities have not identified any suspects, established a motive, or made any arrests.
