Las Vegas tourist reports $32,000 theft at luxury hotel

A tourist in Las Vegas reported the theft of $1,200 in cash and over $32,000 in unauthorized transactions following a night at a luxury hotel. The victim informed the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department that after meeting a woman at the Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan, he returned to his room at the Aria resort with two women.

According to investigators, the victim had consumed approximately 10 mixed drinks and had little recollection of the night. Upon waking, he discovered his wallet open and received notifications for unauthorized Apple Pay and Wells Fargo transactions totaling more than $32,000. Surveillance footage showed two women, later identified as Brenae Sandusky and Linda Green, leaving the Aria in a cab in the early morning hours. Charges were filed against both women in August.
