The Spanish television network laSexta modified its programming on October 2, 2026, to prioritize political coverage. Regular entertainment shows, including ‘Zapeando’ and ‘Equipo de investigación’, were removed from the schedule to make room for live news and analysis regarding a potential early election.

In Costa Rica, Teletica restructured its programming following the conclusion of the long-running show ‘7 Estrellas’ on September 24. After 27 years on air, the Thursday 8:00 p.m. time slot has been filled by the American drama series ‘Chicago Fire’.
