LASK defeats SV Ried 4-1 to extend winning streak

LASK secured their ninth consecutive competitive victory with a 4-1 win against SV Ried in the Austrian Bundesliga. Despite an early goal by Ried’s Pape Sissoko that briefly threatened their winning streak, LASK responded quickly with goals from Samuel Adeniran and Moses Usor before halftime. Christoph Lang added a fourth goal in the 57th minute to seal the result.

Coach Dietmar Kühbauer noted that while the team started poorly, they capitalized on their opportunities once they found their rhythm. The victory maintains LASK’s strong position at the top of the league with a goal difference of 9:1.

The team is now preparing for a Champions League playoff first-leg match against Celtic Glasgow on Wednesday. Kühbauer emphasized the need for a more balanced and high-intensity performance for the European fixture, noting that players Sascha Horvath and Kasper Jörgensen were substituted as a precaution due to minor injuries.
