LASK to host Liverpool in Champions League matchup

LASK is set to host Liverpool in the second round of the Champions League league phase. LASK enters the match seeking their first points of the competition following a loss to AEK Athens and a recent domestic defeat against Rapid Wien. Despite a four-match winless streak, the Austrian side has maintained a strong offensive presence at home.

Liverpool aims to build on their initial Champions League victory against Atlético Madrid after suffering a recent 0-3 league loss to Manchester City. However, the English side faces significant injury concerns, with key offensive players including Alexander Isak, Cody Gakpo, and Dominik Szoboszlai expected to be unavailable, which may necessitate squad rotation.
