Lasobio invests 100 million dirhams in new Casablanca industrial unit
Lasobio, a subsidiary of the Moroccan group Promamec, has invested 100 million dirhams in a new industrial unit located in Had Soualem, near Casablanca. The 2,500 square meter facility is designed to produce dietary supplements, cosmetics, and functional beverages using pharmaceutical-grade standards.
The complex is intended to serve as a production platform for third-party operators, allowing entrepreneurs to develop and manufacture their own brands and formulations locally. The unit features capabilities for seven different galenic forms, with a capacity of up to 3 million units per form. It also includes plant extraction methods to utilize local therapeutic plants and can produce specialized items like serums and functional drinks that were previously not manufactured in Morocco.
Regarding employment, the site will initially launch with approximately 60 employees. Lasobio aims to increase this to over 150 direct jobs by 2030, potentially supporting an additional 500 indirect jobs in sectors such as agriculture, logistics, and distribution. The investment also supports international expansion; the company plans to distribute its H3R LAB brand in over 1,000 points of sale in Germany starting in January 2027, with future goals to enter the United Kingdom.
