Lasörlinghöhenweg hiking route in Hohe Tauern National Park

A personal account details a multi-day hiking journey along the Lasörlinghöhenweg in the Hohe Tauern National Park. The route, which the author had dreamed of completing for over a decade, spans five days.

To avoid an excessively long first stage from Matrei, the trek begins with a shorter ascent from Virgen to the Zupalseehütte. The itinerary includes stops at the Berger-See-Hütte, the Neue Reichenberger Hütte, and the Clarahütte, before concluding in Ströden. The journey traverses significant elevations, including the Lasörling peak at 3,098 meters.
