Latah County Fair celebrates community in Moscow

The Latah County Fair took place from Thursday, Sept. 17, through Sunday, Sept. 20, in Moscow, Idaho. The event featured a variety of attractions including music, rides, food, and local exhibits ranging from children's paintings to large-scale vegetable displays.

Community participation was highlighted through various showcases, such as Lego builds created by local children and a quilting exhibit organized by the Palouse Patchers. One notable display featured a quilt by Karen Owsley, which was constructed using unique textiles sourced from Africa during a medical mission trip. Owsley noted the technical challenges of working with the non-traditional fabrics and expressed her intention to gift the finished piece to the individual who acquired the materials.
