Latakia drug network dismantled by Syrian authorities

The Syrian Ministry of Interior's drug control department has dismantled a criminal drug trafficking network in the Latakia governorate. Following precise monitoring and tracking operations, authorities arrested three individuals involved in the ring.

During the operation, security forces seized 45 kilograms of hashish, 25,000 captagon pills, and 400 grams of crystal meth, along with two handguns. The suspects and the confiscated materials have been referred to the competent judicial authorities for legal proceedings.
