Puebla to host Foodie Black Week 2026

Puebla will host the Foodie Black Week 2026 from September 4 to 13, marking the first time the initiative, which originated in Catalonia, Spain, has been held outside of Spanish territory.

More than 350 establishments, including restaurants, hotels, cafes, and traditional cooks, will participate by offering special menus, promotions, and unique culinary experiences. The event aims to boost local consumption, strengthen economic value chains, and position Puebla as a premier national and international gastronomic destination.

Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier emphasized the coordination between the state government, the private sector, and municipal authorities to promote the region's potential. The inaugural ceremony is scheduled for September 3 at Parque del Arte. Catalonia will participate as a guest region to foster economic and cultural ties between the two locations.
