LATAM Airlines increases Bogotá-Caracas flights to daily service

LATAM Airlines Colombia has announced an increase in flight frequencies on the Bogotá–Caracas–Bogotá route, moving from two to seven weekly flights. Starting Wednesday, September 16, the airline will offer daily service between the two cities.

Erika Zarante, CEO of LATAM Airlines Colombia, stated that this expansion is a key step in consolidating regional connectivity. The increased frequency is intended to facilitate point-to-point traffic and provide better connections to the broader LATAM Group network across Latin America.

The service follows the reopening of Maiquetía International Airport, which resumed operations on September 1 using temporary terminals after its main facilities were severely damaged by earthquakes. LATAM joins several other international carriers, including American Airlines, Iberia, and Avianca, currently operating through the temporary airport facilities.
