LATAM Airlines named best airline in South America at 2026 World Airline Awards

LATAM Airlines has been named the best airline in South America at the 2026 World Airline Awards. The airline also received the award for Best Airline Staff Service in South America during the ceremony held in London.

Paulo Miranda, Vice President of Customer and Experience at LATAM Airlines, attributed the recognition to the passion and commitment of the company's employees. The World Airline Awards are determined by a global passenger satisfaction survey, which for the 2026 edition included approximately 24.8 million valid responses from over 100 nationalities.

Additionally, JetSMART was recognized as the Best Low-Cost Airline in South America for the fourth consecutive year. JetSMART CEO and founder Estuardo Ortiz noted that the award validates their business model of providing low fares and reliable operations.
