Latam and Florianópolis Airport named best in South America

Latam and Florianópolis Airport have been named the best in South America at the World Travel Awards, held in Jamaica. Latam secured victories in three aviation categories: Best Airline in South America, Best Airline Brand in South America, and Best Airline Lounge in South America (Santiago). This marks the 11th consecutive year the carrier has held these titles.

Florianópolis Airport was recognized as the best airport in South America, surpassing major terminals in Bogotá, Brasília, Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Lima, Quito, Rio de Janeiro, and Santiago. This is the first time a Brazilian airport has won this specific category in nearly 20 years, with the last being Guarulhos International Airport in 2007. Additionally, the W Airport Rooms in Recife won the award for best airport hotel.
