LATAM to launch direct flights between São Paulo and Cusco in 2027
LATAM Airlines will launch a new direct international flight route connecting São Paulo, Brazil, to Cusco, Peru, starting in late March 2027. The service will operate four times per week using Airbus A320 aircraft, flying between Guarulhos International Airport and Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport.
The new route aims to strengthen international connectivity for the Cusco region, providing Brazilian tourists with direct access to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley without the need for a layover in Lima. Flight times are expected to be approximately 5 hours and 5 minutes from São Paulo to Cusco, and 4 hours and 10 minutes on the return leg.
Officials from the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) and the Directorate General of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC) participated in the announcement, noting that the route will position Cusco as a major international gateway to Peru. Tickets for the new service are already available for purchase.
