Germany hosts diverse regional festivals and Oktoberfest celebrations

Various regional festivals and cultural events are scheduled across Germany throughout the 2026 season.

A major highlight is the 191st Munich Oktoberfest, set to begin on September 19, with over 6.5 million visitors expected. Other notable celebrations include the Mannheim Oktoberfest, which will feature Kurpfalzbräu as its new beer partner, and the Latdorf Oktoberfest scheduled for early September.

Musical and community events are also prominent, such as the MDR-Musiksommer, which hosted 25 concerts across Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia. Local festivities include the Bimbach Kirmes, the Ohlstedter village festival, and various wine festivals in Baden-Württemberg and around Lake Constance. Additionally, the Derendorfer Jonges celebrated their 70th anniversary with a gathering in Düsseldorf, and Tiefenbronn will host its Oktoberfest in the Gemmingenhalle this September.
