Latiano hosts Drum Fest to promote community inclusion

The town of Latiano is hosting the Drum Fest, a percussion-focused musical event held at Piazzale dei Musei. Organized by the Fondazione Opera San Bartolo Longo, the festival is part of a broader series of initiatives marking the centenary of the transit of San Bartolo and the 2026 Meeting of Full and Universal Citizenship.

The event aims to promote social inclusion and community participation through the universal language of music. In addition to musical performances, the festival features a food area and a creative workshop where participants can craft keychains from drumsticks. The initiative is designed to foster interaction among citizens of all ages and utilize local culture to encourage active citizenship.
