Latin American authors present new works at regional universities

Writer and doctoral student Sué Laínez presented two of her new books at the Faculty of Humanities and Philology (FFyL) of the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo in Argentina. Laínez, a professor at the National Autonomous University of Honduras, discussed her research and literary work, which spans poetry, children's narrative, and academic essays. Her current research focuses on rescuing Central American authors to better understand the literary landscape of the Americas.

In Chile, author Alia Trabucco Zerán participated in a discussion at the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María. Organized by the Gender Observatory in Science and Engineering and the Department of Humanistic Studies, the event focused on Trabucco's literary career and themes such as feminism, violence, memory, and human rights. Trabucco, who is also a lawyer, discussed how she incorporates legal knowledge and judicial rulings into her narratives, specifically regarding gender violence and social issues.
