In Argentina, artist and dentist María Victoria Beverati has released ‘Diario de una herida’, a collection of twelve stories. The book addresses various traumatic experiences, ranging from childhood incidents like momentary blindness and fear of water to adult challenges such as panic attacks and emotional dependency. Beverati describes the work as an attempt to confront and transform past pain.
In Peru, writer Rosa Chávez Yacila has seen critical and reader success with her debut book, ‘Las nerviosas’, published by Random House. The narrative explores inherited emotional trauma and its impact on the author's relationships with her mother and partner. The work has reached its third edition, noted for its exploration of mental equilibrium and universal human experiences.
