Latin American companies recognized for gender equity in workplace rankings

Several Latin American companies have been recognized by Great Place to Work for their commitment to gender equity and female leadership.

In Chile, the water utility Aguas del Valle has been named one of the top ten companies for women to work in for the fourth consecutive year. The company was highlighted for its efforts in promoting female leadership and work-life balance through its ‘Somos’ program, which includes flexible hours, hybrid work, and support for childcare.

In Ecuador, Banco Guayaquil secured a position in the top three of the Great Place to Work ranking for women. The bank reported that women make up 56% of its 3,000 employees and 47% of its leadership roles. The institution maintains a salary ratio of 0.98 between men and women and utilizes its ‘Me Cuido’ program to offer maternity support and workplace flexibility.
