Latin American exporters target new markets at Miami food trade show

Latin American companies from Guatemala and Ecuador are participating in the Americas Food & Beverage Show & Conference in Miami, Florida, to expand their international market presence.

A delegation of 20 Guatemalan companies from the manufacturing and services sectors is attending the event as part of the ‘Guatemala Pavilion’. Led by the Ministry of Economy and supported by AGEXPORT and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the mission aims to connect national goods and services with new business opportunities, distributors, and retail representatives.

Simultaneously, four Ecuadorian companies—Greensnacks S.A., Oriental Industria Alimenticia OIA S.A., The Exotic Blends Co., and Family Food Distributors Ecuador (Famodecsa S.A.)—are showcasing their products. Supported by Ecuador's Ministry of Economic Development and Productive, the group is presenting a variety of goods including plantain and cassava snacks, tuna, coffee, tea, and superfood protein bars to international buyers and importers.
