Latin American Insurers and Chemicals Firms Invest Over €2 Million in CSR Projects in 2025

MGS Seguros and its foundation released a 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility report showing more than €2 million invested across 34 projects. The spending includes €350,000 for health‑research institutions such as IRB Barcelona and the Hospital Nacional de Parapléjicos de Toledo, €24,000 for the Fesbal federation, and a range of initiatives for sports, youth, a virtual archive, staff training, the “Creemos en tu sueño” programme and school‑supplies assistance for employees’ children.

Methanex Chile published its 2025 CSR magazine focusing on activities in the Magallanes region. Highlights comprise a Graduate Programme, student internships, the “Operation as Classroom” visits to the Universidad de Magallanes, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and the Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas de Novia, a partnership with Liceo Industrial Armando Quezada Acharán, a safety‑course with NGO Canales, digital‑skills certification for Instituto Sagrada Familia, re‑verification of Responsible Care® certification, beach‑clean‑up events with the navy, a Christmas solidarity drive and the “Puro Corazón” volunteer programme delivering food baskets to seniors and children.
