Latin American tourism sectors launch regional business missions

Regional tourism sectors in Argentina and Bolivia are actively pursuing international market expansion through dedicated business missions and trade events.

In Brazil, the province of Corrientes participated in WTM Latin America in São Paulo. The mission focused on promoting nature and sport fishing, generating over 100 inquiries and 25 business meetings. Officials engaged with professionals from Brazil, Chile, and Germany to increase the visibility of Corrientes' tourism products.

In Bolivia, the “Tarija Conecta” commercial mission is taking place in Tarija to foster business opportunities between public and private sectors. Supported by European Union funding, the initiative brings together entrepreneurs and operators to promote enotourism, gastronomy, and cultural experiences. The event includes business rounds and workshops aimed at creating commercial alliances and strengthening the regional tourism service chain.
