Latin American Universities Highlight Innovation at LAC 2026 Conferences

The University of Morón from Argentina took part in the LAC Summit 2026 held in Dallas, Texas, USA. Dean Pablo Navarro represented the school, attending sessions on artificial intelligence, accessibility, learning analytics and Blackboard's new tools, and met Blackboard CEO Bruce Dahlgren. The university also showcased a vocational expo that attracted more than 2,500 students.

Meanwhile, Chile’s Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB) sent dozens of faculty and students to the 24th LACCEI International Multi‑Conference for Engineering, Education and Technology in Santiago. Dean Alejandro Caroca highlighted the university’s focus on sustainability, AI and STEM, while a workshop on Women in STEM led by Lilian San Martín drew over 50 participants. Both events underscored growing regional collaboration on digital transformation and engineering education across Latin America.
