Latin Grammy Awards announce 2026 performers and tribute
The Latin Recording Academy has announced a new wave of performers for the 27th annual Latin Grammy Awards, scheduled for November 12, 2026, in Las Vegas. The lineup includes Cristian Castro, Camila Fernández, Feid, Luis Figueroa, Fonseca, Grupo Frontera, Milo J, Niña Pastori, Reik, Sofía Reyes, Yami Safdie, and the rock band The Warning.
A central highlight of the ceremony will be a tribute to the legendary Mexican singer-songwriter José Alfredo Jiménez, marking the 100th anniversary of his birth. Known as the “King of Ranchero Music,” Jiménez’s influence on the genre is celebrated through this special segment, which will be produced by Edgar Barrera. Barrera leads this year’s nominations with 10 nods, including categories for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year.
Several performers are also competing for major awards. Milo J holds multiple nominations, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year, while Colombian artist Karol G leads her country's contingent with seven nominations. Puerto Rican salsa singer Luis Figueroa is set to perform and is nominated for Best Salsa Album for his work, ‘El Relevo’.
