Latin music artists achieve major milestones and awards

The Latin music industry is seeing significant milestones for several major artists. Argentine producer Bizarrap has received two nominations for the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards for his collaboration with Daddy Yankee, ‘Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 0/66’. The track is competing in the Song of the Year, Latin Airplay, and Latin Rhythm Song of the Year categories. Bizarrap’s recent activities include performing at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami and a large-scale show in Mexico.

In the United States, the Mexican-American group Los Tigres del Norte was honored in Minneapolis, where Mayor Jacob Frey proclaimed September 9 as ‘Los Tigres del Norte Day’. The band also headlined the 39th annual Hispanic Heritage Awards, the first time the ceremony was held outside Washington, D.C. Other honorees included Mon Laferte and Eladio Carrión.

Additionally, Colombian artist Feid is bringing his short film, ‘El Green Print’, to theaters across 41 U.S. cities. The film, which explores underground culture and cinematic storytelling, will include the theatrical premiere of his new music video.
