Latin music icons celebrate 50-year milestones with concerts
Several prominent Latin music acts are celebrating major career milestones with upcoming performances.
Dominican singer, composer, and arranger Ramón Orlando will celebrate 50 years of musical career on September 23, 2026, at the Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez. The concert, titled ‘Ramón Orlando y sus amigos’, will feature over 60 guest artists, including Juan Luis Guerra. Orlando noted via social media that the stage will be positioned further from the audience than in previous shows to comply with regulations intended to preserve the stadium's facilities and track.
Meanwhile, the Puerto Rican group Menudo has announced a six-date tour this autumn to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The lineup, organized by owner Paul Tarnopol, features seven members from different generations, including René Farrait and Robert Avellanet. The tour begins October 10 at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles and will travel through Chicago, New York, Mexico City, and Hollywood, Florida, before concluding in San Juan on December 12.
