Latin music industry sees leadership and expansion moves

Warner Music Group has announced the promotion of Roberto Andrade Dirak to President of Warner Music Latina and A&R, Latin America. Based in Miami, Andrade will report to Alejandro Duque, President of Warner Music International. His expanded role involves partnering with regional leadership to shape genre strategies, identify market opportunities, and advise on high-profile signings to help scale artist success globally.

In a separate move, UnitedMasters is expanding its Latin division, marking the signings of Puerto Rican artist Lyanno and Chilean artist Lyon La F. The company stated its focus is on artist development and building infrastructure to empower independent Latin artists. Lyanno, an ASCAP Award recipient, and Lyon La F, who gained viral success with ‘Deja Que El Mundo Se Acabe’, represent the company’s ongoing investment in the region.
