Latin music updates: Mar Solís releases new single and Las Musas announce US tour

Mar Solís has released a new interpretation of the classic song ‘Invéntame’, written by Marco Antonio Solís. The version, which blends mariachi roots with cumbia rhythms, features subtle backing vocals from Marco Antonio Solís, marking a symbolic musical connection between father and daughter. The track was originally recorded by Enrique Iglesias in 1995.

Separately, the musical group Las Musas del Vallenato Nueva Generación is preparing to launch a new twenty-song album. The project includes reinterpretations of international vallenato hits alongside three original tracks. The group also announced ‘EL NUEVO PACTO – USA TOUR 2026’, scheduled for September and October 2026, with stops in Los Angeles, Miami, Ocala, and Salt Lake City. Their recent single, ‘Y siempre’, is a collaboration with Karolina con K that blends electronic rhythms with the vallenato accordion.
