Latin Recording Academy to honor four women with Leading Ladies award

The Latin Recording Academy will honor four prominent women in the music industry with the ‘Leading Ladies of Entertainment’ award. This recognition aims to highlight professional achievements and raise awareness regarding gender inequality within the Latin entertainment sector.

The honorees include Spanish singer-songwriter Niña Pastori and Spanish producer and sound engineer Salomé Limón. They are joined by María Fernández, Chief Operating Officer for Sony Music Entertainment in Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula, and Sandra Jiménez, Regional Director and Head of Music for YouTube in Latin America and the US Latin market.

Salomé Limón, a five-time Latin Grammy winner, also founded the Ibero-American Association of Women Producers and Audio Engineers. Niña Pastori, a six-time Latin Grammy winner, most recently received an award in 2024 for the album ‘Raíz, nunca me fui’.
