Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame announces 2026 inductees

The Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame has announced its 2026 class of inductees, to be honored during the 13th annual La Musa Awards on October 14 at the Flamingo Theater in Miami. The new inductees include Yoel Henríquez, Danny Daniel, Kike Santander, Sergio George, Mario Quintero Lara, and Gian Marco.

The group represents a diverse range of musical genres, including salsa, tropical, Latin pop, regional Mexican, and singer-songwriter traditions. Notable contributors include Sergio George, known for his work in salsa, and Kike Santander, who has collaborated with major artists like Jennifer Lopez and Thalía.

In addition to the new inductees, the ceremony will feature several special honors. The legendary Celia Cruz will receive a posthumous Premio Legado. Other award recipients include Lupita Infante (La Musa Elena Casals Award), Marti Cuevas (Ralph S. Peer Publishers Award), and Beth Matthews (The Founders Award).
