Latina implements school renovations and urban redevelopment projects

The city of Latina is undergoing several local infrastructure and educational improvements. The Istituto di Istruzione Superiore ‘Vittorio Veneto – Salvemini’ is set to inaugurate its renovated Aula Magna on October 13, 2026. The renovation, funded by the Province of Latina and PNRR resources, aims to improve safety and quality within the historic building. Additionally, students at the San Benedetto technical agricultural institute recently completed the planting of the school’s first olive grove.

In urban development, the Municipality of Latina has approved a project to redevelop and maintain the Borgo Piave roundabout at the city's northern entrance. This project will be executed through a sponsorship agreement with the company Cms – Clean & Maintenance Systems srl. The intervention includes restoring the roundabout's aesthetics and repairing its fountain, a move Mayor Matilde Celentano described as a way to encourage public-private collaboration and active citizenship.
