Latina Province approves 2027-2028 school dimensioning plan

The Provincial Council of Latina has approved the school dimensioning plan for the 2027-2028 academic year. The resolution passed with nine votes in favor, one against, and two abstentions.

Key measures include the activation of adult education programs across several high schools to increase inclusivity, including specialized paths for individuals within the local prison. Specific institutions slated for these programs include Nautico Caboto, the Artistico of Latina, Giulio Cesare in Sabaudia, and Galilei-Sani in Latina. Additionally, the plan includes requests to restore the separation between the Don Milani and Vito Fabiano institutes and proposes reorganization for the Mattei institute due to declining enrollment.

Opposition members criticized the Lazio Region for providing insufficient time for provinces to finalize and submit their proposals.
