Latina Televisión holds talks with Gisela Valcárcel for potential return

Eric Jurgensen, the general manager of Latina Televisión, has confirmed that the network is in preliminary discussions with prominent Peruvian presenter Gisela Valcárcel regarding a potential return to broadcast television.

While no formal agreement or specific program has been finalized, Jurgensen emphasized Valcárcel’s significant potential and ongoing relevance in the industry. He stated, “I am going to continue betting on her as well,” and indicated that news regarding these negotiations would be available soon.

Valcárcel has recently expressed interest in bringing large-format productions back to the screen, including the possibility of a special season of ‘El Gran Show.’ She noted the high production costs involved and even suggested a willingness to assist with financing to ensure the project's viability.
