Latino denies child abuse allegations made by adopted son

Brazilian singer Latino has issued a formal denial against serious allegations of child abuse made by his adopted son, Guilherme de Oliveira, via social media. In an open letter, Latino stated, “What my son published is a lie,” categorically denying any inappropriate contact with minors and describing the accusations as deeply painful and baseless.

The dispute involves conflicting accounts from family members. Guilherme, who has acknowledged struggles with alcoholism, alleged that Latino had previously involved the police to prevent him from entering the family home. He also claimed that his sister, Amanda Rocha, had previously reported being abused by their father.

However, Amanda Rocha has directly refuted these claims, stating, “I have already told him on other occasions that I had been abused, but not by my own father.” She suggested that Guilherme may have taken old messages out of context to construct a specific narrative. While Latino’s legal team is evaluating potential judicial measures, the singer expressed hesitation about suing his son, stating, “A good man does not sue his own son,” and noted a desire for eventual reconciliation.
