Latronico honors Maestro Gerardo Cosenza with new urban space

The municipality of Latronico held a ceremony on August 22, 2026, to dedicate Largo Gerardo Cosenza, an urban space located in front of the Istituto Comprensivo Don Bosco. The event, organized by the municipality in collaboration with the Gerardo Cosenza Art Studio, honored the late Maestro Gerardo Cosenza.

Attendees included Mayor Fausto De Maria, Potenza Culture Councilor Roberto Falotico, art historian Fiorella Fiore, and Giuliana Cosenza, director of the Gerardo Cosenza Art Studio. Speakers highlighted Cosenza’s artistic legacy, noting his contemporary language and his role as a mentor to multiple generations through his intellectual generosity and creativity.
