LattePanda launches Mu Ultra x86 module for on-device AI

LattePanda Team has launched the LattePanda Mu Ultra, a compact micro x86 computing module specifically designed for on-device AI applications. Measuring 69.6 × 60mm, the module is powered by Intel Core Ultra 5 226V or Ultra 7 256V processors.

The module delivers up to 115 TOPS of AI performance (INT8), which includes 47 TOPS from a dedicated NPU. By combining the CPU, GPU, and NPU, the hardware enables low-latency inference and improved data privacy by running AI workloads locally rather than relying on cloud computing.

Designed for space-constrained environments, the Mu Ultra is intended for use in robotics, industrial automation, smart cameras, and portable instruments. It features 16GB of LPDDR5X-8533 memory and maintains compatibility with existing x86 software ecosystems, including Windows and Linux, as well as frameworks like Intel OpenVINO and Ollama.
